Advent children...hmm
I'm guessing most of you saw the comment by some stranger a few posts back right? I'm also guessing that it was valli's 'lonely man' image that triggered that response. anyone been to the site that was linked yet? if not, go and take a look and you'll see what i mean. that fella probably googled 'lonely man' or something along that line in hopes of getting some potential 'customers', no offence.
brighten up valli, at least suffering in university is better than suffering in the army right? no more lonely man posts! my timetable is just as jialat(if not more) than you ntu guys...look on the bright side and you'll pull through. heheh.
term break time...time to study and head back to school for projects. sigh.
anyways i just watched FF7 advent children. i never actually completed the original game and i'm not that big a ff7 fan anyways...but the show was pretty entertaining. not necessarily good, but entertaining. I know enough of the FF7 story to make some sense out of this new movie, but at the end of the day i still believe this movie is made to appease the diehard fans who lust and hunger for more aeris and tifa...and any lady fans of ff7 would not be disappointed. there are no ugly males in there.
the story is really just an excuse to bring our dear sephiroth back for another confrontation with angsty pretty boy cloud. everyone else besides tifa and the turks have been demoted to just...minor, cameo-like appearances. and who didn't expect aeris to show up here, eh? as a spirit, ghost, or part of the lifeforce, whatever it may be, the developers find a way to bring aeris back to make the fanboys happy.
tifa looks great and her breasts actually look normal sized now, not like those huge melons she had back on the ps1...and too bad yuffie didn't have a bigger role, i love her funny teenage ninja girl character.
the cg animation is pretty top-notch, although the physics needs some work. a lot of the action scenes were pretty insane and physically impossible, and the weird physics behind it makes some of the scenes look kinda fake. the crazy impossible stunts were great, but it could've been made better if the physics was more...tight. hard to put it to words, watch it and you'll know what i mean. anyways the show still entertains and i'll still recommend it...having some knowledge on FF7 will help though.
alright, enough ranting for now. i'm getting the ff7 animation that comes with the movie next, hope it's worth watching too...
jack out~
